LOTOS Oil S.A., part of Poland's LOTOS Group – the second largest manufacturer and distributor of fuels and other refinery products on Polish market - joined ATIEL on March 1 2009.

LOTOS Oil's activities include production and distribution of a range of engine oils, industrial oils and greases and base oils as well as distribution of car cosmetics and chemical products.

In addition to meeting API and ACEA requirements, its engine oils have also gained approval of leading car manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Volvo and MAN.

LOTOS Oil has three production centres in Gdańsk, Czechowice and Jasło, a distribution centre in Piotrków Trybunalski, a sales office in Warsaw and a management board office in Katowice.

As part of its membership, LOTOS Oil will take up representative positions on the ATIEL General Assembly, Technical Council and Base Oil Interchange Committee.
