Marketers' Letter of Conformance signatories

Last updated: 7 November 2017

Participation in the European Engine Lubricant Quality Management System (EELQMS) implies a commitment to develop and manufacture those engine lubricants for which compliance with ACEA Oil Sequences will be claimed, or to have such engine lubricants developed or blended by third parties, in accordance with the EELQMS guidelines.

These commitments are made in a “Letter of Conformance”, completed and signed by the participating entity and submitted to ATIEL, the administrators of the EELQMS.

Administration of the LoC scheme is now carried out  by SAIL, Services to Associations and Industry in the Lubricants Sector, on behalf of ATIEL.  The new list of signatories for the validation period starting 1 November 2017 can be found on the SAIL website here

Manufacturers that manufacture products for brands that are owned and managed by separate, independent marketers and do not market any products themselves, do not list any brands.

The appearance of an entity on this list only means that ATIEL has entered in its register, as of the date of the list, a valid Letter of Conformance of the entity concerned, appearing, on the face of it, to be genuine.

ATIEL assumes no responsibility for the implementation by the entities identified above of their obligations, as defined in such Letter of Conformance, or for any damage that a breach thereof may cause to third parties. ATIEL cannot be held responsible for any claims resulting from inclusion and non-inclusion of entities in this list. ATIEL also declines any responsibility with regard to the external audit procedure, which belongs to the domain of the relevant auditor.
